What are your hours of operations?
We are open 7 days a week! Please see our schedule for specific time slots available each day. *Hours may vary on holidays
Do I need a Tennessee Marriage License?
Yes, you will need a Tennessee marriage license to get married in the state of TN!
Can we bring our own officiant?
We have an in-house officiant that officiates all of our weddings at the chapel. All of our packages include an officiant!
Can we bring our own photographer and decorations?
You can bring your own photographer or we can send you recommendations! The chapel is fully decorated, however, you are more than welcome to bring florals, decor, etc. to set out yourself.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, we do require all clients to book in advance to secure your preferred date and time, however, if scheduling allows we can fit in last minute bookings!
How early can we arrive ahead of our reservation time?
Our doors open 5 minutes before your time slot begins!
Can we schedule a chapel preview showing before our wedding?
We are more than happy to schedule a tour of the chapel! Please contact julia@whitevelvetchapel.com for more information.
What if the guests/couple are late to the wedding?
Due to scheduling, we are not able to alter your time slot if you or someone else is running late to the wedding. Please plan accordingly!
What are the next steps after we submit our payment?
Once you book, you will receive your wedding day questionnaire a few weeks out, from there we will go over all details for your ceremony and big day depending on which ceremony and add ons you may have!
Do you provide a witness?
Yes, one of our staff members will act as your witness if you do not have one with you!
Is there a room for the bride to hide in before the ceremony?
There is a back office available if the bride would like to be separate from the groom before the ceremony.
If we are not hiring a photographer, can someone take photos/videos?
We offer a BTS (behind the scenes) content package that includes iphone photos and videos of your special day!
